My too... my favorite on those. That and the darker goldish color I think of as quintessential. <DAMN!! Spelled it right first try! (now could someone tell the meaning?)
I had VWs when I started out driving. I liked the Baja bugs but I would not chop up the ones I had ('49 and two '56s). Then I saw this approach and wanted to do one bad... but never did.
