Next up, just swap the body over, easy enough, right? I did power wash and paint the frame a nice semi-gloss black, just don't have pics of it.

Just need to disconnect the wiring harness, brakes, steering shaft, trans linkage, pull the motor, unbolt 6 body bolts and the cab lifts right off, right?

Pretty much. 2WD frame going out.







Then the frame just rolls right out.



Don't touch anything!



Now just slide the 4x4 frame into position, and bolt the cab back down.



Nothin' to it, but to do it. You can't tell really from this pic, but the moment of truth happened on the LWB to SWB conversion when we set the bed back on. The tires were right in the middle of the wheel wells where they were supposed to be. My advice.....measure a bunch before you start cutting.
