Ok 2 questions
1 how do align the lower contol arm front to back

I have drop spindles, and when I go to assemble, I need like 6-7 inches of compression on the spring, and when I'm halfway home the upper is buried I to the snubber. Sound right??.
Frame off. No weight. But it doesnt seem right.
I took these parts from a working donor. However just because they were on it. Does not make it right. So I have to ask
