I have the stock tank. But I'm having a hard time visualizing what you're looking to do. I don't know if turning the fill is possible it has a lot of angles and has to pass through that cover on the wood floor. There's not a not of room through that space.

I have seen posts here where folks have used copper pipe to make the transition from the stock fill to the new tank. You might try doing some searches for fuel fill posts and maybe you can find some inspiration.

Worst-case money wise is have one fabricated by a competent weld shop.
