Thanks PanelD, that's very helpful. I was thinking of sticking with the drum brakes for the time being and maybe add a boost to improve braking; but disc brakes are definitely something I'm considering as well and I wouldn't be going for the Citroen look.
Pritch-funny thought about the Citroens...now I think of it I have never seen one upside down.......
