I stopped by a friends house the other day and he was cleaning out the garage because they had the house up for sale. He asked if I needed any steel. He usually gets junk to try and fix so I was skeptical but said sure. Turns out he had a 10’ stick of 4”X4” and 2 10’ 2”X2” pieces. The 4x4 worked perfect for my front crossmember and I stacked the 2x2 for my rear crossmember. With any luck I’ll actually get to set the bed back on next weekend.
