When I had my Cummins, I was having lift pump issues so instead of buying a $500 one, I decided to go cheap and put a holley blue pump on the frame rail it worked for about a year and a half or two. Probably not the best way to do things, but cheaper and fixed my issues. Without regulator it was giving me about 14 psi
