Re: 59 truck with axle flip and removed load leaves. Major axle hop!
Brings back memories of 1st gen Camaro single leaf suspensions. Used to just add "slapper" bars that allowed movement during regular driving but provided a moment arm against the spring during acceleration. Mopar had a more elegant solution, just used a pinon snubber.
