So I finally looked into this on my 89 K1500. I was unable to find the wire 157 in the engine bay. So I ended up pulling out the AC/Heater control unit and spliced into wire 157 at the plug for the control unit and ran it to ground. Works just as he described above. I now have recirculating AC instead of cooling outside 115 degree Arizona heat. Thank you so much!
