i have put barn doors on a 66 suburban that had a lift gate... on the 66 on the door pillars there were plastic caps over to holes for the hinges for the barn doors..you can't convert to a lift gate on a 60-66 burb that was origionally came with barn doors because there is no holes in the lower panel to put the lower lift gate...not sure if this is the case w/67-72.....thought i'd post maybe it would help.......
