Someone has been running this scam on CL for a while with this ad and photos of this truck. It goes away for a while then pops back up. I often wonder exactly how the scam plays out here, as the perp never responds to emails or phone calls generated from the ad.

I haven't figured it out. As you say it pops up all over the country for sale.
