Code 10 can be set by “riding the brakes” but it can also be set be driving in heavy traffic when you have your foot on the brake for an extended distance. Basically the system is detecting the brake pedal being depressed when receiving a vehicle speed sensor signal above 35MPH for what it detects as being to long of a distance.

ASEASIDER’s truck is a square body R/V body style which has a different brake switch configuration then the newer C/K trucks.

The brake switch adjustment I posted is not for his truck.

If this does not take care of the code 10, look at post #6 above in this thread, for more testing information. Test the voltage on the wires.

Did you give the model, year, engine, fuel system type, and transmission information?
If it is modified from what came stock from the factory, let us know that too.
