Not sure how much smaller then 191/196@.050 you can get and still have a running engine. My moms 1998 3.0L v6 accord had more duration.
Op- you can run any gen I small block head you want on that block. Not sure what garyd1961 is going on about with poor gas mileage and detonation. You said you'll match the pistons to the heads. 9:1 is 9:1 regardless of how you get there [or whatever compression you choose]
