I did that too and it actually helps a bit in side to side sway as well. It feels a lot more solid now. Was good before just better now. I also back in the 90's installed some rear traction type bars. That really helped out with straight ahead acceleration especially with gobs of torque from the 406. Of course all of this would have to be disconnected to do some serious wheeling.
