I'm curious because, I just happened across a 67-68 seat. Got it all torn down to sandblast the frame. First time I ever run across a seat this old. I'm usually over in the 73-87 section of the board. But I restore seats. So I'm poking around in here, to see what info I can find.
Love that truck, makes me want to find one too.
TKCR,
Yes, its the original seat in there, just covered up by that "red-headed step-child" of a seat cover. Stuffed my hand under the red this afternoon, and can feel a foam pad under the red, and the original seat material beneath the foam pad - I could feel the vinyl/cloth and mating seam and a peek of it being green... Just as it should be. Once I get the red out, I'll see what I'm dealing with regarding the original seat/upholstery... it will be going back to factory stock appearance.
Thanks!
Mike
