It def is running rich, there is soot in my exhaust tips.

Any carb that floods does that.
Look in the carb while cranking it over or when you get it running. Any fuel seen at all means it’s flooding.
Could be dirt in the needle/seat or a sunk float.

Took the Q-jet apart last night, there def was some crap in there, cleaned it all up, since it was new I just decided to put it back together, transparently it needs more than just a blowout-it flooded again.
Rebuild kit on order.
