I use the step drills from HF on a regular basis. Catch them on sale. I've found them to last as long or longer than step drills i've paid 3 times more for.
I found the motorcycle tire changer on craigslist, that originally came from HF to be good, too. Only paid $35 for the whole thing, changed several motorcycle and trailer tires with it.
