No, from the original location. The inner frnder gets opened up a little more, then Whipple includes their own air box complete with a K&N filter. MAF stays in the same location.

Well,
1] Right at 6 psi at WOT
2] I haven't had it on th edyno yet, but Whipple claims 425 HP and just under 500 ft/lb at the rear wheels. Those numbers are close to sea level, I am at 5500'.
3] I did the install. It took about 8 hours, but was really straight forward and easy to do. I just took my time.
4] I probably could have replaced the 5.3L with a 6.0L for less money, but this way I still have the economy of teh 5.3L with more poweer than the 6.0L.

I pull my 5000# travel trailer (10,300# total truck & trailer) with ease, cruise at 70 MPH at around 11.5 MPG. I love it!!
