CALIFORNIA YOM PLATES
I decided to give myself a Christmas treat this year and got these vintage unrestored yellow on black plates for my truck. After many months of searching, I finally found what I wanted on eBay earlier this month. Today, Christmas Eve, I went to the DMV and registered them in acordance with the California YOM (Year Of Manufacture) program (

They look a hell of a lot better than the current style plates, and they emphasize the classic looks of this truck. It's 1969 all over again !
