I understand but my truck is 100% factory original with only 20,000 original miles on it. All of my reading says do not knock out the idle adjustment cap to ajust the idle.

...I’m trying figure out what changed to make the idle go too high. Ran and started fine for a few years. Thanks again for all the help y’all!
