255/60's are about the widest you should go on 8" rims.

I think a wider sidewall would be more in keeping with the look.

Btw, I'm getting my glove box door and stuff back this week from CSM. Fairly quick turnaround, and it would have been sooner if they didn't wait for the seat covers. I wanted it to ship together to save a few bucks.
