Sure they will. That taller rim/lower profile combo nets similar overall height. That's going in the wrong direction for someone who wants more sidewall, which is what the OP stated as his goal..

Now to enter my own opinion. 15" rims with some meat on them just looks right. could be I've been looking at these trucks too long, but that is the look that's right for me. I see some trucks with modern diameter wheels (within reason) that look very nice to me and I'm all for others doing as they please. But there will never be anything wrong with sticking with 15s. And for me that is the sure thing looks great forever wheel.
