here's a few more shots to show how things go together. make sure to install the hinges and later the doors. also remember the hinge pillar part sets the height for the step part and the step has a bearing on the front edge of the door and fender fitment later. if the step is too far forward then the lower edge of the fender will butt against it or too far back and there could be a large gap to fix.
nice to see your helper is safety conscious. nice glasses and gloves. all he needs is a clipboard, a cell phone and a white helmet so he can run the show, haha.
