Nope, no connection at all. Z62 is just a trim level that groups things like cloth seat cover (not houndstooth though,
usually referred to as Custom Cloth on a SPID at the YE9 level), Deluxe emblem, etc. in 71-72, trim levels progress upward from Custom (base, not on the SPID), to Custom Deluxe (Z62), to Cheyenne (Z84), to Cheyenne Super (YE9). Z84 was Custom Sport Truck pre-1971, but that terminology did bleed over into some 71 Cheyennes on the SPID. Z84 was the highest trim level pre-71. Custom Deluxe was also the only trim level with which the highlander trim option could be ordered (i.e. just the seat cover or the promo package trucks).
