Then Started to get the wood bed ready for stain. Had to drill holes for mounting and attaching to the wheel wells. For the mounting holes, I designed some custom stainless offset washers with holes for a carriage bolt. I know, you can buy them online, but this was funner. Then had them laser cut at a local shop. I drilled the through holes first then measured the offset and added the counterbore so the washers sit flush. They will keep the bolt from turning and look great doing it.
Can't wait to get these boards stained and mounted in the truck! I think its gonna look amazing!
