Took a stab at my own version of the floating gas pedal conversion. I used a piece of aluminum plate and marked out the existing hole pattern.
Then added the pattern for the floating pedal shifted so that the the cable holes lined up:
Cut it out and gave it a polish:
Then I added self-clinching studs for the floating pedal to mount to:
Mounted it to the existing holes on the firewall:
Then mounted the gas pedal:
Pretty happy with how it turned out!
