I can't tell from the pic you posted if you have the necessary bracket. If it isn't hooked up right, it won't kill a 350 like it would a 200(R4) or a 700(4R), but go easy until we see a good pic. Or go on youtube and look up how to adjust a 350 turbohydramatic detent cable.
