I can't tell from the pic you posted if you have the necessary bracket. If it isn't hooked up right, it won't kill a 350 like it would a 200(R4) or a 700(4R), but go easy until we see a good pic. Or go on youtube and look up how to adjust a 350 turbohydramatic detent cable. |
Thanks for the reply, here are more pictures of the bracket. It's a Lokar kickdown cable and everything seem to fit perfectly. Granted the initial adjustment of length seemed to be too easy to be true, but I've never had to deal with a kickdown cable before. The bracket connects to the manifold
