That is the same thing I asked him he said the small block isn't bad as long as you are moving, that is his regular driver. The big block was his money maker in the 80's doing 1/4 mile smoke shows at the local drag strips till he hit some fuel that was on the track left by a jet dragster, he said when he got out of the hospital his money was gone and so was his wife.
More than likely he wore a fire suit doing that so the family jewels were protected and I don’t think he would have wanted to do a wheelie on it. If you want to see more of his stuff go to
