Ya all those slick sixties (61-66) 3/4 ton 4x4 Ford came with the non-matching rear bed from the factory stock. It was a bed that was intended for the 57-59 series. They were simply using up the old stuff! You could however order the 4x4 3/4 ton with the regular matching bed, if you special ordered it. All 1/2 tons came with the proper matching box. As for the fenders, they are actually different on the 4x4. Those fenders are stock and much harder to come by. Luckily my F100 has a good set. All two wheel drives from 61-64 were unibody as well. The cab and bed were all one piece, which sucked because of no flex and rust was an issue. Ford claims that a 4x4 was never made in Unibody, I have not yet seen one. Anyways there is some Ford history for you. Like my best friend the Chevy lover always says," Ford, hey at least they circled the problem" LOL
