Just for grins, what if you had a Detroit in the front and for street use in 4X4, you only locked in one side of the front?
Then if you really needed it, you could lock in the other for serious stuff.
Wouldn't that act just like a standard unit, assuming the Detroit had enough side bias to not just ratchet?
