Gee whiz knowledge when you work with the newer trucks and how they’re referred to sometimes:

1988-1998 = OBS older body style *suv and some of the crewcabs went to 2000

1999-2006 = NBS new body style

2007+ = NNBS new new body style
More than Crewcabs... My 2000 C2500 with the 6.5L is a T400 and the SUVs were T400 chassis til 2001 or so. Similar to the 88-91 RV series squarebody SUV and Pickups.

The GM truck chassis designations leave a little less to the imagination. There were older body style carryovers in every chassis group and some of the T900 SUVs were made a year before the T900 Pickups.
GMT400 88-98
GMT800 99-06
GMT900 07-13
K2 14-18
T1 19-

At least two terminator models in there...

RTFM... GM Parts Books, GM Schematics, GM service manuals, and GM training materials...Please include at least the year and model in your threads. It'll be easier to answer your questions.
And please let us know if and how your repairs were successful.
