Welcome to the forum from another NC member. Get the title resolved with NC since its an antique out of state transfer before you do anything with the truck requiring money. Have you verified the frame and VIN # are the same. Very important with NC. I have done several antique titles from out of state and NC can be fun to deal with, but that will be the 1st thing they will want to come see.
The frame vin # is on the driver side just over the a arm. Cab vin should be on the cab A pillar once you open the door. Once you have clear NC title....spend and play away.
Great looking project though and looks like it'll be a fun build. Keep us posted with pics and updates and if you make it down to the sandhills be sure to let me know. We have a good group of 60-66 guys down here!!
