I don't find the PTFE hose any stiffer than the rubber lined and stainless braided hose I have used in the past but once you bend it too far past the minimum bend radius for the hose it tends to kink in a different way compared to the rubber. Almost like breaking a twig where as rubber is more gradual. Not sure if my explanation makes sense but I tried.
It does... I have some other brand PTFE braided hose on my first project and its pretty stiff...
