Ok - it's all back together, with the exception of the new clip, and seems to work fine (as far as braking).

The only issue is that it is a bit clunky coming out of park. I assume the Brake/Trans interlock is sensitive to the brake light switch moving around a bit, and will be taken care of once I install the new clip.
