i have seen 2 different versions of this --- one is very soft and the other is a better version which is a hard plastic --- the hard plastic holds up much better - before you put the pad in -- mock it up with the fastners in place so you know right where they go -
line it all up and give the fastners a shot of wd-40 then push hard -- it should go in a bit easier ,
make sure all line up with the holes and dont forget any -- pulling it bk out may not be much fun....
