Like Newfisher said, there's a high chance that a few of the loose roller bearings could fall inside the case when you remove the original S10 shaft. Tilting the whole thing so the input shaft points at the ground will allow gravity to work to your advantage. There are 15 loose roller bearings, so make sure you get them all. Use vaseline (or translube) to make them sticky when you install them inside the new Jeep shaft.

As they always say, "The devil is in the small details". It's not difficult but needs to be done properly or you will get premature failure.
