I lived in Brasil for two years, spent most of my time no Nordeste. I did live for a couple months in Sao Paulo and visited Campinas once or twice. I understand what you mean about finding parts. I regularly saw shops rebuilding cars by hand and fabricating many pieces. Most Americans don't understand just how expensive cars are there in the first place. Want to buy a brand new Camaro? Better have the U.S. dollar equivalent of $117,390 in your wallet. U.S. dollar equivalent of $57,000 for a base model Malibu? Yep.
