Reading thru more of the posts I realized I had not actually answered the question, LOL. Found the forum while searching the internet for 4x4 parts to just the truck usable. Pretty sad shape when I found it.

Actually found my '71 4x4 sitting in the back of a used car lot. It was a rough ol dog but it was a 71 and it was four wheel drive. Bought it and along with it came a 3/4 ton 72 parts truck for $1500. A LOT of money, time, sweat, labor and beer it turned into a real truck, LOL. Kept the bed, rear frame and running gear from the parts truck and made a trash hauling, gravel hauling, fire wood hauling trailer out of it. Have had my truck since '85.
