Check for power at the "S" terminal(the small one) at the starter while turning the key to start. If you have power, you have a bad starter.
If you don't have power at the S terminal, you could have a bad neutral safety switch, ignition switch, or wiring problem(rodents like to chew on wires when cars sit)

I took it as it was turning over but would not start . No reason to replace the crank angle sensor if it was not turning over .
