The 1/2-20 coarse thread bolt and z bar nut were, to the best of my knowledge, used on 73+ spare mounts. That being said, they are very popular and used often on 69-72. The good news is you can buy common 1/2” carriage bolts to use with these z bars (below are pics of the 2-1/2” long factory bolt).
