Great info, thank you! I plan on installing a Vintage Air Gen IV system in the not so distant future so likely letting the compressor spin until then.
BTW - I also have a '91 V2500 Suburban and totally dug reading the flickr build up on your '89. But, when I bought the '72 I made a deal with my wife to let the '91 go. So after 13 years of great service, it's looking for a new home
