Re: Valve cover script?

Greg, went thru that very same thing some time ago. I ordered the Chevrolet script stencil from Eckler's in Florida. Used to be Classic Chevy before Eckler's bought them out. I removed the stenciled letters and laid the stencil body over the script after I had painted the valve cover Chevrolet Orange. Used some lead wheel weights to hold the paper stencil down tight to the valve cover. Sprayed with rattle can silver several light coats as with silver paint too heavy a coating and it tends to sag and run. Let me know if you need some pics to help show how I did it. Turned out great, much better than me trying to free hand paint the lettering.

Greg, found a pic of them after a search. " script valve covers" , pic of the final result which I think turned out pretty well.
