Good point on blasting it and then deciding, I had intended to fix everything before blasting to speed up the process of getting it in primer to avoid surface rust. I guess if unknown issues pop up after blasting I can always sand off my primer to repair and then reprime.
Im in Iowa, hard to believe given the condition of the truck, even the rockers are still solid. I had thought about leaving them, but there is some pretty good rust going inside of them when I look into the inspection hole.
Its going to be a summer nice weather only vehicle, stored in a heated garage. It is the truck in my build thread.
