Yea but sometimes two and two don't always add up. Just because it doesn't run right doesn't mean that the nut fell in there. I got a valve cover hold down tab in my motor once while removing the intake and the rattling sound was quite loud when I started it up. I didn't need to guess as to what happened. Before letting anyone sell you on a new motor you need to pull the heads, or at minium buy one of those fancy camera scope deals and take a look in there.
