I appreciate both of you chiming in here to help me out. Vettevett, as far as running both a relay and OP switch, was under the impression I needed both. See I know nothing about electrical. I could however trade you cooking tips in return for helping me here. Hopeful to learn and grateful for you guys to teach me some. Here is the OP switch I got. Don't be afraid to tell me I messed up and I need different parts or less of them or whatever. My goal here is safety #1. Fun having #2.

to answer your question. I just don't want to be on fire if I get in a wreck. So whatever is necessary to make it safe. Ill do whatever it is youd do in that regard. Also the OP switch doesn't show an amp rating on jegs website. Ill have to look at the switch itself to see if theres any indication on it. Heading over to look at that now. Its a 20 minute drive to the shop.
