The biggest difference between a static drop and air is the ability to lay your truck out when its parked. Both provide a drastic improvement in ride quality over factory components and both will get you the lowered ride height you are looking for. While the air system is fully adjustable in regards to height, the static drop on coil overs or our StreetGrip alternative will be slightly easier tostall with fewer components and a reduced cost.
If you are looking for great ride and component quality at a price point that is a little more wallet friendly, you should check out the StreetGrip system (I will include a link below).I've personally put a ton of miles on the blue and white 72 shown in the link and that truck has a ride quality that surpasses even the new GM trucks. The components are durable and easy to install. The truck you see in the picture has already been to Texas and back to Indiana twice this year!
