Thanks for taking pics.

I do a lot of these in my shop, I find it easier to leave the intake assembled(lower, upper, and throttle body) and remove it all with the lower intake manifold. I think its easier to take all that stuff apart on the workbench than in the engine bay, especially in the fullsize trucks.

Good luck with the core plugs. hopefully you can get them to seal without pulling the motor.
