About the firewall color: Atlanta built trucks had fawn colored firewalls. That black/white 1965 Custom Cab is one I built back in 2000. I've since owned another 1965 Custom cab that also had the fawn firewall. My current '66 project is a Baltimore built unit and firewall is body color. Mike, do you have any factory literature showing that the 327's were green? I know they were and still have my original green valve covers with the "High Torque 327" decal. But I'm sure I'll have a hard time trying to convince people at shows that the motor is supposed to be green. When I was showing my '65, people used to tell me that I did a great job on the restoration, but the 283 was supposed to be orange, not gray!
