Take a look at the location of your fuel filter/fuel line. I had a similar issue in that mine would start fine when cold but when hot it was hard starting during summer heat. No issues in cooler spring or fall. Fuel filter was down about mid block and was picking up a lot of heat. Moved it up the line to the top of the engine and near the carburetor. End of problem.
